Culgaith School is a mixed school and caters for children of 3 to 8 years from Culgaith, Blencarn, Skirwith and Kirkland
There is a Part Time Nursery which takes rising 3 year olds from these villages and the surrounding area. This nursery class meets for 5 sessions a week.
